Unveiling the Beauty at Ethereal Grunge

Guests were swept away into a night of style and purpose at the UofT Charity Fashion Show, Ethereal Grunge: Whispers of the Courtyard. Held on April 25, 2024, this student-run initiative by the students of the University of Toronto provided a captivating blend of ethereal beauty and urban edge, all while supporting mental health research through their partnership with CAMH Engage. 

The evening took attendees on a journey through the realms of fashion and intrigue. Taking place in the Victorian-esque Windsor Arms Hotel, the runway was staged beautifully, perfectly encapsulating the theme. The models dazzled as they took to the stage, showing off each stunning look to the full audience.

The UofT Charity Fashion Show, Ethereal Grunge: Whispers of the Courtyard, transcended the realm of a typical runway event, providing a platform to display student creativity while raising crucial funds for mental health research. The evening was a testament to the power of community and compassion, raising an impressive $8000 for mental health research. 

As guests took in the impressive displays, they knew they were not only enjoying a night of fashion, but also contributing to a great cause. Attendees added their voices to the chorus of people demanding a future where mental illness is given the attention it deserves. With each dollar raised, CAMH will be able to conduct groundbreaking mental health research that will dismantle barriers, reduce stigma, and help save lives. 

Ethereal Grunge: Whispers of the Courtyard wasn’t just a fashion show; it was a celebration of creativity and compassion. As the night drew to a close, guests departed with memories of an unforgettable journey through the realms of style and solidarity.
